ICUA Zadar is pleased to announce the call for papers for the international conference ‘’Maritime Renaissance – Adriatic Trade Routes in Late Medieval and Post Medieval Period’’.
We kindly invite underwater archaeologists, historians, scientists and researchers to present their new discoveries and studies to professional and general audience about the traces of international shipping trade routes which crossed the most important navigational directions of the Adriatic Sea in the late medieval and post medieval period.

All abstracts will be reviewed and accepted or rejected by the members of the Scientific Committee. The Committee reserves the right to determine whether an abstract submission is accepted as an oral presentation or a poster. The decision of the Committee is final. Acceptance will be based on the quality of the written abstract, the innovativeness of the content, its relevance to the conference’s topics, scientific value to the community and overall program balance. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be emailed by 28th August 2020.
Papers submitted will be grouped together by the thematic area.
The presenting author will be required to register for the conference in order to have acceptance of the abstract confirmed.
Presentations must be delivered in English.
Each presenter will have 15 minutes at most.
After the presentations, presenters and audience can discuss for 15 minutes.
The presenting author will be required to send an abstract that should briefly describe the essential content. It should be written in Word document (font Times New Roman 12p, single spacing) with minimum 1500 and maximum 2500 characters with spaces (including the title, name and surname of author, co-author) and one relevant photo.

The organizer will provide 3 nights of accommodation for accepted lecturers.
